The simple act of sipping a hot drink forces us to pay attention to what we are doing in the moment. (Basically, trying not to burn ourselves!) You can chug down a soda while walking from one place to another, but you won\u2019t find it easy with a hot cup in your hand!<\/p>\n<p>There are many wonderful books on the subject of medicinal\/magical herbs and teas. Even Peter Rabbit\u2019s mother knew a bit of chamomile tea was in order after Peter\u2019s encounter in Mr. McGreggor\u2019s garden. All sorts of teas are available in your local grocery store as well as health food stores.<\/p>\n<p>One of the nicest things about drinking tea is the choice of mugs or cups and saucers available. Flea markets or garage sales are great places to pick up a single cup and saucer. You can collect a mixed set of teacups or look for just a favorite color. I have a collection of mugs in different colors that I use for different moods. There is a blue mug with chamomile for a calming moment; an orange mug with lemon tea for a pick-me-up and a green mug with peppermint tea for an under the weather tummy. I admit that I have one for every color of the Chakra system!
