In that context it has no real meaning. But long, long ago, it\nwas a mystical word with great healing power. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\nSome\nsay it comes from Aramaic phrase <em>avra\nkadavra<\/em>, meaning\u201cit will be created\nwith my words\u201d or \u201cI will create as I speak.\u201d Another theory is\nit comes from the Hebrew words Av Ben and Ruach meaning Father, Son\nand Holy Spirit. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> \u201cThe oldest mention of the word <em>abracadabra <\/em>is found in the work <em>De Medicina Praecepta Saluberrima <\/em>written by Quintus Serenus in the second century,\u201d according to <a href=\"http:\/\/grammarist.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">grammarist.com<\/a>. Each line drops the\nlast letter of the line before.
