Merry Meet and welcome to my hearth. Grab a chair and a cuppa tea and sit with me a spell. I would like to share this is a poem I wrote a few years ago when I was trying to define myself and my life after a series of tragic event. I have taken it out to look at and realized this could be YOU. So I share this with you. Know that I share my heart and my pain. But also know that I love the me I am today.. and could add at least 5 more paragraphs to this as I have grown by leaps and bounds since this was written.<\/p>\n

I AM truly blessed and realize that with every breath I take.<\/p>\n

I AM
\nBy The Hearthkeeper<\/p>\n

I am me
\nThe me the world made
\nNot the me I wanted to be<\/p>\n

I am me
\nThe wife my Hubby made me to be
\nNot the me I wanted to be<\/p>\n

I am me
\nThe mom my kids made me to be
\nNot the me I wanted to be<\/p>\n

I am me
\nthe person the society made me to be
\nNot the me I wanted to be<\/p>\n

I am me
\nThe me my religious lessons made me to be
\nNot the me I wanted to be<\/p>\n

I am me<\/p>\n

The me the God\/dess has guided to this path<\/p>\n

Not the me I wanted to be<\/p>\n

I am me<\/p>\n

The me that Death has made me to be<\/p>\n

Not the me I wanted to be<\/p>\n

I am me
\nThe scared girl Cancer is making me to be
\nNot the me I wanted to be<\/p>\n

So now what…
\nIf I am me..who is that
\nA wife, mom, witch, cancer survivor
\nIs this the me I wanted to be??<\/p>\n

Am I me??
\nI do not know..
\nThe me I wanted was a picture
\nA vision
\nOf the me I wanted to be<\/p>\n

But all that has made me
\nMolded me
\nFormed me by their needs
\nHave made me the me I am<\/p>\n

I AM ME
\nThe me I am today
\nLove and cherished
\nHugged and blessed
\nI am MOM,WIFE,WITCH,
\nSURVIVOR,EARTH MOTHER<\/p>\n

I am me
\nThe person who has evolved
\nFrom the me I wanted to be
\nTo the me I want to be today<\/p>\n

I am me<\/p>\n

And I am truly blessed.<\/p>\n
