{"id":7237,"date":"2012-11-01T01:10:00","date_gmt":"2012-11-01T06:10:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/paganpages.org\/content\/?p=7472"},"modified":"2012-10-28T15:35:46","modified_gmt":"2012-10-28T20:35:46","slug":"in-all-things-i-dwell","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/paganpages.org\/emagazine\/2012\/11\/01\/in-all-things-i-dwell\/","title":{"rendered":"In All Things I Dwell"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>IN ALL THINGS I DWELL<\/strong><br \/>\nWhen the Culdees sat by the standing stone,<br \/>\nwhere the sidhe was the chosen home,<br \/>\nat the top of a rugged mountain peak,<br \/>\ndeep in the valley where insects speak,<br \/>\na man travelled into a future time<br \/>\nrecreating himself in a poets\u2019 rhyme.<\/p>\n<p>It was long ago, when the world was new,<br \/>\nwith fewer choices of what to do,<br \/>\nthis man sat gazing in his chair,<br \/>\nhe wasn\u2019t here, he wasn\u2019t there,<br \/>\nhe\u2019d gone to the place of in between<br \/>\nwhere imaginary thoughts can be seen.<br \/>\nhe sat for hours.<\/p>\n<p>Until he thought to lie down flat,<br \/>\ntake himself from where he sat,<br \/>\nto a comfortable position on the floor,<br \/>\nin total darkness, he closed the door,<br \/>\nlistened to leaves in the gusting breeze,<br \/>\nheard crashing waves from pounding seas.<br \/>\nsmelt fragrant flowers.<\/p>\n<p>He sat for hours, he sat for days,<br \/>\nhe carefully considered different ways<br \/>\nto take himself from here to there,<br \/>\nwithout having to leave his chair,<br \/>\nhe saw himself in another place<br \/>\nwith different clothes, a different face.<\/p>\n<p>The Culdees stood by the sacred stones,<br \/>\nthe Tuatha De Danann prepared new homes,<br \/>\nwhile the ocean carried a vibrating scream,<br \/>\n\u201cI Am!
