{"id":7657,"date":"2013-03-01T01:10:47","date_gmt":"2013-03-01T06:10:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/paganpages.org\/content\/?p=7917"},"modified":"2013-02-20T00:11:26","modified_gmt":"2013-02-20T05:11:26","slug":"interweavings-30","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/paganpages.org\/emagazine\/2013\/03\/01\/interweavings-30\/","title":{"rendered":"Interweavings"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Book of Seasons<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/paganpages.org\/emagazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/Interweavings1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-7919\" title=\"Interweavings\" src=\"https:\/\/paganpages.org\/emagazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/Interweavings1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"186\" height=\"166\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<br \/>\n<em>March<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Our next month in the Book of Seasons is March and the beginning of the turn of the wheel to Spring! \u00a0With the arrival of the equinox comes the perfect time to check in with our heart and breathe into the balance of the Earth. \u00a0\u00a0The deep quiet of winter is at an end. \u00a0Before the quickening of life begins, take time to enjoy the momentary lull. \u00a0Soon the stirrings of new life will begin and our focus will be drawn outward.<\/p>\n<p>My affirmation for March is &#8211;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">My inner world is in perfect balance with my outer world.<\/p>\n<p>As a way to engage heart and hands in the season I offer the making of a table top Medicine Wheel.<\/p>\n<p>The Medicine Wheel that I created starts with a ten-inch flowerpot saucer. \u00a0Any round and shallow dish will do. \u00a0I gathered sand from the banks of the river outside my home to fill the dish. \u00a0With stones the circle is divided into quarters. \u00a0Each one devoted to an element. \u00a0With symbols for each element I decorate the area. \u00a0In the corner for North sits a crystal and piece of cedar. \u00a0East has a feather and brass bell.
