{"id":943,"date":"2009-01-01T01:10:04","date_gmt":"2009-01-01T06:10:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/paganpages.org\/content\/?p=906"},"modified":"2008-12-12T16:11:51","modified_gmt":"2008-12-12T21:11:51","slug":"music-artists-kiva","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/paganpages.org\/emagazine\/2009\/01\/01\/music-artists-kiva\/","title":{"rendered":"Music Artists KIVA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a title=\"kiva1\" rel=\"lightbox[pics906]\" href=\"http:\/\/www.earthsearecords.com\/index.html\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"attachment wp-att-907 centered\" src=\"https:\/\/paganpages.org\/emagazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/12\/kiva1.jpg\" alt=\"kiva1\" width=\"100\" height=\"100\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Kiva\u2019s cd \u201c<strong>Out of the Corner of the Eye<\/strong>\u201d is their ninth recording since the bands birth in 1990.\u00a0 The cd is a collaboration of songs based on fey folk and the world they dwell in.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The band, with talented guest and a specialized set of instruments (cello, guitar, flutes, didgeridoo, violin, bass, and mandolin) recreated a world many of us wondered about and wish we were actually living in.\u00a0 With each song and story being told you can feel yourself being swept into the story as if Alice in Wonderland.<\/p>\n<p>While listening to the music and lyrics I am easily reminded of being back in the Renaissance perhaps of being part of a midnight summer eve.\u00a0 The title track \u201cOut of the Corner of the Eye\u201d is a story told by a fey.\u00a0 How they move throughout our life only letting us seeing them through the corner of our eyes.
