**ADULT CONTENT**

Today we are going to talk about sexual magick. Some may ask what does sex have to do

with magick? Others may ask what does magick have to do with sex. Well, if your sex

isn’t magical and your magick isn’t sexual, then neither will help you accomplish what

you desire. The sexual aspect of magic is a very interesting topic. However, one must

keep a sensible view of such things.

The most important thing to keep in mind is that humanity has a closer semblance to the

Creative Forces of the universe than any other creature that inhabits this planet, because

we are a small universe of the same creative forces. The “Generative Forces” of the

Universe are the Creative Powers themselves, whether the thing created is an idea, a

child or an emotion. The Lord and Lady are Archetypes of these Generative Powers.

At a very basic level the force that empowers magical rites is the same force that is

generated during the sexual act. I am not advocating that everyone join a group that

utilizes the Great Rite in their ceremonies. One should not sacrifice their own values and

sexual magick takes many forms. The weapon entering the chalice is a dramatic

reenactment of intercourse and is included in the genre of sexual magick. However, one

who remains chaste prior to a Rite or Ceremony is practicing sexual magick as well.

Anyone who has refrained from sex for an extended period of time can well attest to the

amount of energy that builds up.

Many old Alchemical texts are simply veiled instructions on sexual forces and their uses.

There is more than one idea that comes to mind when the texts mention the alembic, the

athanor and the elixir.

Some folks may engage in sexual magick when alone with their partner. Some may even

engage in sexual magick when they are alone, period. Yes, one can engage in sexual

magick via a masturbatory route. There are also orgiastic rites, chaste rites, dramatic and

symbolic reenactments. There are many types of sexual magick and many types of groups

that engage in one or more varieties of sexual magick. Not to mention the individuals that

utilize sexual magick without any involvement with a group, coven, society, or order.

There are many flavors of sexual magick and like all such things, flavors that please one

person’s palette may seem disgusting to another’s sense of taste.

I would also advise anyone with a history of sexual abuse or trauma to resolve these

issues through counseling before participating in sexual rites; if anyone encounters

pressure from a group to engage in behavior that they are uncomfortable with… run like

hell.

At a deeper level we are able to generate the ‘creative energy’ that causes changes

perceived as ‘Magical’ because Humanity is made Male and Female in the Image of their

Creator…
