Life is hectic. Times have changed and it feels like the world has gotten much busier than I remember. Perhaps that’s just me entering my 40’s, pining for simpler times (I really miss the 90’s). While I’m sure that is part of it, I think the internet and social media are the major culprits, having quickened the pace of the world quite a bit in the past 25 years or so. People aren’t sitting on their porches with a tall glass of sweet tea as much anymore, enjoying the moment.
