Merry meet! I’m Jazz and I’m a Canadian oddball. I love roller derby, kickboxing, spending time with my dog and husband & love all things art, craft and pagan! I was raised by a Roman Catholic family but discovered Buddhism, then Paganism while in elementary school and have followed the Pagan path ever since. My main deity is Gaia as she approached me in a dream and I feel a very strong connection to her. I love working with runes and absorbing knowledge and working on my never ending book of shadows. I have always been drawn to the arts & have done many crafts and randomness for as long as I can remember. I find it peaceful and it helps settle my mind. I enjoy drawing, painting, cross stitching, doll making, jewelry making and more! I hope to spread my love and passions with others and put as much positivity in the world as possible. Feel free to check out my Facebook and Instagram! Thanks for popping by and Blessed Be!

The Pentagram and Pentacle There are many different opinions and stereotypes when looking at a symbol like the pentagram or pentacle. Many people have misconceptions when it comes to them and here’s hoping for a little bit of clarification. Both the pentagram and pentacle are both very significant and share many similarities, but let’s first look at the differences.  The pentacle is a five pointed star encased within a circle. As Pagans and humans we are indebted to them and all the knowledge they have given us. First off we should just touch base on some of the things that the Mesopotamians have given us. They invented the world’s…

Long and Round Barrows: Neolithic Monuments to the Dead The Neolithic time period was very important for Pagans as it was in this time that people began to settle down, claim boundaries and start farming. By this time the moon was already regarded as the Goddess, but with the farming people began to see the wheat swell and grow with the power of the sun, and with this the sun became regarded as a masculine force- the God. One thing that the Neolithic people are known for is the creation of the long and round barrows, which were grave mounds, dedicated to the dead. The first to come about was…
