Ancestral Healing Oracle: Transform Generational Trauma” is a tool to explore and heal your relationship with yourself and your family. It will guide you on a path of self-discovery, to connect with your feminine and masculine lineages, understand archetypal aspects, recognize patterns, and release what no longer serves your highest good.

A significant part of healing involves getting to know yourself and these cards tap into wisdom to help understand your life experiences, their karmic lessons, and steps that can lead to healing. They can guide you through challenges such as letting go of protective shells to start living fully, changing your prospective to move beyond survival mode, and strengthening your weakened masculine to unlock fresh opportunities.

When pulling cards, author Inna Segal encourages you to sit with the images and then dive deeper by asking yourself a series of questions to recognize how each aspect of the illustrations connects to your life and how it makes you feel. The book offers a reproduction of the card and text with messages, insights, and guidance. Each two-page spread concludes with a healing practice that calls for journaling, a guided meditation, questions to answer, and similar actions.

I join a virtual coven for the dark half of every year because the focus is shadow work, something that on my own I will often avoid … like I did with this deck. The first card I pulled was “Understand your karmic lessons.” I didn’t feel like applying myself that day; I didn’t study the card and raced through the write up without reflecting, identifying, or acting. When I again picked up the deck, I drew that same card. I laughed at what felt like a reprimand for trying to avoid something uncomfortable. Other themes I drew included tuning into my feminine lineage, befriending my inner child, and learning from family patterns.

The cards are 3.5” by 5” with silver gilded edges and, with the book, come in a beautiful box. Illustrations are realistic and detailed, some with dreamlike features. Using them offers opportunities to better know your self and your ancestry, leading to growth and healing.
