Finding Your Own Way: Book Review & Free Book Offer

I wrote this book as a response to over forty years of trawling through endless books on the occult, magic and mysticism. I am not saying that I did not learn a great deal from many of the authors, but, in some ways, they were also a distraction from this, now obvious, truth which was right under my nose. In the end, we must find our own personal path. No one who simply follows the spiritual path of another person will ever find their rightful place in the universe until they finally strike out on their own and discover their own, unique inner truths. Many of us…

    Finding the Pagan Way

Many people are under the impression that faeries are largely a Victorian invention, but as most people with even a passing interest in them will tell you,- earth spirits have been encountered since the dawn of mankind. They are mentioned by various names in most, if not all, cultures. The faeries are a large part of my life, and are constant,- though usually invisible, companions. Short Story: Kiara, Episode Two

A quiet knock on the door brought Kiara back to the room with a start. The lock turned and a young girl appeared with a supper tray. She was thin, with a boyish figure and lank hair and pale greasy skin. Kiara thought that she looked very tired and unhappy. She greeted her with a wave, but just received a wary look in return. The servant girl placed the tray on a little breakfast table and left without a word. Again, the clicking of the lock and Kiara was alone. She sat on the single chair provided and picked at her food with little appetite. It was obviously left-overs from…

    Finding the Pagan Way

Spiders, and the path to a wider understanding of the world. Thanks to a growing interest in shamanism in New Age and Pagan circles, many people now speak about their animal guides and totems. An increasing number of people have had personal experiences of meeting some of their animal guides in meditations or simply bumping into their totem animals. Even those among us who are more attracted to mainstream culture, and perhaps are less interested in the wider aspects of spirituality, have been enchanted by “Aesop’s Fable” and the tales of Beatrix Potter. Stories like “Jungle Book” and “Call of the wild” have charmed readers since the last century. Many…

    From The Muse

Lord Of The Woodlands Dawn brings a cold grey light beneath a moody sky that does not seem to greet the day with joy. A sleepless night is followed by a solitary walk. I long for peace,- but expectations are not high. The glistening grass has soaked my feet, and chilled me to the bone. I curse myself for such a choice of routes, but still I’m grateful for this time alone. The woodlands beckon me with sheltered paths beneath it’s softly sighing trees. Perhaps in such a sheltered grove My aching mind may find some ease. So I wandered in that twilight world that held the dawn at bay,…
