    Hally’s Hints

Answers to the Questions We Don’t Ask The shifts of change and the winds of time are ever present in all we do. This is becoming so apparent it is now an expectation that each unfolding week will be faced with some challenge that will enable some beautiful change that we will get to experience, be it by the end of the week or by the following. What this kind of change can cause is the separation in synergy. This means that those of us that are on the path to enlightenment, alignment and moving forward with pure intent will find ourselves more at peace and taking leaps and bounds…

    The Veil

The Veil on this night is thin, A lifeless image held with in. Shadows dance from a flickering light, Specter’s roam the streets tonight. Ageless beauty encased in gold, Her youthful looks are very old. Long black hair falls in relief, Curious stare in disbelief. Darken holes where eyes should be, Seeing visions that we cant see. Death fills her face, with it’s embrace, In this dark and lonely place. I lean in close, there is a whisper, She calls to me, to come to her. “From this world that’s in-between” “Have a Spooky Halloween”.

    InterWeavings

November Musings November in the US brings thoughts of Thanksgiving Day.  Although it is an American holiday, the idea of devoting a day to gratitude is nice. Especially since it is the kick off weekend to the madness that is Christmas shopping! Eating meals together around a table.  I will admit when we had all three kids at home it was easier to institute the ritual of coming to the table for a meal.  We ate at six o’clock each night at the table. No eating in the family room in front of the television (unless mom was not home that night).  Everyone waited until the last person was seated…

    Rayne’s Ritual Way

Ritual:  Solitary vs. Group It is important to find balance in our lives, and in our practice. It doesn’t really matter what sect or tradition you come from there will be times when you will have to do a working alone, and times when you can work within a group. Both experiences are very different experiences that advise everyone to partake in. Coming from a small (VERY) small eastern Texas town I found it very difficult to find like-minded individuals that were actually serious about Witchcraft. Wicca and Witchcraft, both, have been very integral parts of my life, and I always found it extremely disheartening to meet a new Witch…

    Turn Of The Page

Another page in my life turns. Freedom within my soul burns. Towards the sky I raise my arms. Thank you for keeping me safe from harm. The wind blows softly upon my face. The glow of the moon is your embrace.

    Little Manual of Witchcraft

No one person can teach all of the Craft.  No one person can learn all of the Craft.  The Craft is too big.  Every witch specializes in something, and acquires proficiency with three or four other things.  This is why the saying declares “You cannot be a witch alone.”  It is best to be in a coven, from six to twelve persons plus the high priestess.  But people move around the world and it is not always possible for covens to keep together.  The next best thing is to associate with one or two witches and keep in touch with others over the internet.  Witchcraft and Neopaganism could not survive…

    Defeated

Is there anything left inside? Anything left to feel? I said, ‘I’m fine’, but I lied. Pain is the only thing that’s real. How much more must I feel alone? How much longer must I cry? The very soul of me is gone. Conquered by days gone by.

    Perthro’s Pronouncements

Conflicts: do the gods and goddesses have them, and how do they deal with it? Today I’d like to explore a topic that’s been on my mind of late, for no particular reason. If you’ve read my earlier articles, you know I see the gods a bit differently than most, not as above us, but being made of energy, without a “location” in the cosmos, they are literally everywhere, but also nowhere. Having an infinite existence, in space and time, must make for quite a life. But do they occasionally have conflicts with those of their own kind? If so, how would they resolve them? The very nature of their…
