Journey of a Witch
Imbolc- Seeds of Hope Hope. We all need it. Earth herself could use it. Imbolc is the hope of things to come. From the depths of winter, spring is brewing. Days of old. We see winter as a time of sleep. Indeed what better than to curl up with a good book and a warm soothing beverage on a frigid day. As…

Hally’s Hints
RESPECT THE UNIVERSAL ENERGIES Finding myself often consumed with energies, messages from the universe, working between planes and the list of activities go on and on, it is no surprise that this tends to be at the forefront of my mind. I tend to use discretion when discussing this kind of topic for the simple fact that some are not comfortable discussing something of this nature, based on their beliefs. With respect being one of my core values, being aware of this is important to me. However, being human I found myself misjudging a situation the other day which left me feeling almost violated more than vulnerable. It was one…

Journey of a Witch
Beginnings “Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate.” J.R.R. Tolkien January is named after Janus, the god of doors, gates, time, beginnings and endings. With his two heads he can see the past and the future. He is also the god of economic enterprises, yet looking back at the past year and forward to the new, little seems to have changed. Beginnings can be wrought with the anxieties of the past. Indeed the first day of January for many of us will not bring about the financial peace of mind that we need. If you are like my family, you’ve had to cut…
