WitchCrafting: Crafts for Witches
Protection Door Hanger Merry meet. I was inspired to make protection door hangers by first fashioning twigs and vines into small wreaths that would fit over a doorknob. Then I collected up as many small objects as I could find that had protective powers, including bells, pentacles, tiny jars of salt, hag stones, sweet gum tree seed pods, tarot card charms, goddesses, crystals (black tourmaline, black obsidian, clear quartz, amethyst), evil eyes, rune symbols, dried herbs, and spirals. I attached these to the bottom of each wreath with embroidery floss, ribbon, twine, or string. Room on the Broom Bright Blessings, film lovers! If you are like me- you love a good cartoon. Well, this was just too cute to resist. Room on the Broom is a short cartoon film based on the children’s book with the same title, written by Julia Donaldson. It was originally released by BBC One in 2012, then again in 2013. Voiced by some of Britain’s most famous stars, including Gillian Anderson, Timothy Spall, and David Walliams, the film is inspiring, heartwarming, and fun. Aether: A Magazine for Families
The Pagan Federation Community Support Team is always working hard to support Pagans and their families, and now there’s a special online magazine packed with stuff for families, kids and young people. The first issue came out around Imbolc and the next issue is due out at the Summer Solstice. The articles in the magazine are helpfully colour coded to show what age range they are recommended for, and it’s in a practical PDF form so you can view it on just about any device. And… it’s free!
