Celebrating the Old Ways in New Times
Celebrating the Old Ways in New Times for Yule 2022 and Imbolc 2023 Bright Blessings! As the year comes to a close, and we reflect upon the blessings Yule and Winter Solstice bring, we also look forward to Imbolc when the first signs of Spring appear. This time, instead of writing about the Sabbats, I want to give you gifts. I am sharing some letters my Priest was able to acquire and tell you about the things the letters discuss! First, a bit about my priest. Lord Shadow He is nearing age 72, the age he says most Ceremonial Magicians don’t live past, and he has already dodged…

Witch & Popcorn
The Exorcist Bright Blessings film lovers! Classic horror film, The Exorcist has terrified people for decades with the demons, acrobatics of the actress playing a possessed child, and ingrained beliefs in demonic possession- and it’s one I just can’t get enough of. Watch this trailer here: You wouldn’t know it to talk to me today since I am such a horror fan, but this film literally scared the ever living hell out of me when I was in high school. As Above So Below (How the Stars Became Our Hearts)
Christianity: The Doctrine “Jesus Christ knew he was God. So wake up and find out eventually who you really are. In our culture, of course, they’ll say you’re crazy and you’re blasphemous, and they’ll either put you in jail or in a nut house (which is pretty much the same thing). In the woods near where I live, they spring up, completely unannounced, sometime between the snowdrops and the wild garlic. It’s a “blink and you miss it” kind of phenomenon; Come to early, and the ground is just green and dormant. Come too late, and the flowers have already wilted, the plants getting ready to store their energy until next year. The most spectacular showing of bluebells is at a patch of woodland a little further afield, by the banks of one of our waterways. These bluebells arise and…

Book Review – One Truth and One Spirit: Aleister Crowley’s Spiritual Legacy by Keith Readdy
Book Review One Truth and One Spirit Aleister Crowley’s Spiritual Legacy by Keith Readdy 436 Pages I purposely do not read anyone else’s reviews on a book before I read a book. I do this so that another does not influence my view of the book; I must admit books on Aleister Crowley can be a little dry, and the difficult. But there’s always strange & interesting tidbits that I pick up in the books. Mr. Readdy’s book is a history book. Therefore, it reads like a history book, and if your history buff, that’s fine. I was still able to find a lot of interesting information within…
