Bardic Song of the Month – June 2015
This month’s Bardic Song is called “If Love Is, Then Love Is”. It is a simple tune that has 4 lines for easier repetition and the melody line is rather easy. And since it is June, the thought of marriage comes to mind…
I created this song for a Midsummer Ritual that would be non-judgmental of love in any degree or aspect. At the same time, I was writing it, Pennsylvania passed the Gay Marriage law, where homosexuals are now legally able to marry another person of the same gender. The words offer no judgment call.
Where it states ‘color’, it means exactly that; there are no boundaries of race or color where love is concerned. Where it states ‘hue’, the intention is whether the lovers are straight, bi, gay, lesbian or anything in between; there are no judgment calls where love is concerned. And since LOVE is a splendid thing regardless of color and hue, everybody should have the ability to marry – legally.
As much as possible, all songs are created as a single page in pdf format for easier printing and reading.
If you play the piano, these songs are simple enough to pick up right away.
If you don’t have the musical inclination, a wav file is attached for easier listening and learning.
All songs for this and future monthly articles are published by the Blue Ridge Mountain Clan by Lord Fairy Bottom Educifer aka Wayne Minich, II. Any similarities to other songs is coincidental and not intentional.
