The Celtic Well
Oftentimes when I have been racking my brain for something worthy of putting into print I have come across a common ailment all writers have been afflicted with from time to time, the dreaded writers block. Well a few weeks back while I was trying to come up with something to write it hit me (Writers Block) and I became so frustrated that I had to just step away from the keyboard and take a breath. What was I going to do? Nothing was coming to me it had been days now and I just could not for the life of me find anything to inspire me so I thought why not listen to some music? So I turned on the Radio and the song Rhiannon by Fleetwood Mac came on, as I sat there listening to that song I felt as if a hand had just washed over me and the writer’s block just faded away. It was from that song I found the inspiration to write the Evocation of Rhiannon in the hopes that it would be of helpful to others of a like mind.
Evocation of Rhiannon
O’ Maid of Annwn
Great Queen, Goddess of the Moon and Inspiration
Amidst the ancient Oaks we worship thee underneath the star filled skies
Humbly we evoke thee Rhiannon to bestow upon us
Your musings of artistic inspiration
