The above months are part of the Ogham tree calendar. They reflect sacred cycles of the Celtic year. The Willow tree is associated with growth and healing.

The next new moon will occur on April 17. Called the New Flower Moon, it’s the very first new moon of Spring. Note that since it’s in Aries, it’ll be linked to energies, initiatives and new beginnings. It can be used for setting intentions or kicking off fresh projects, too.

Be advised: I grade my reviews on a five point scale. (Well, considering I use halves too, maybe a ten pointer.) So a 5 would be an “A”, a 4 1/2 a “B+”, a 4  a “B” and so on. And I rate older scary movies differently than I do more recent ones, a little more sternly, to take into account modern sensibilities. (And modern S/F.) A 4 1/2 or a 4 rating doesn’t mean I disliked what I’m reviewing. Consider it a kind of fine tuning. Just sayin’…
