What Are the Magickal Arts? When I began this column for PaganPagesOrg many years ago, I had a vision of filling it with writings focused on exploring the magickal weavings of artistic endeavor. I am after all a former professional ballerina. One of my children is a trained fine artist, another is a classically trained musician, and all five of my children are excellent writers and artists in their own rights including the sciences- a pediatrician, a biomedical engineer and a veterinarian. Video Book Review – Travels to the Otherworld and other Fantastic Realms: Medieval Journeys into the Beyond edited by Claude and Corine Lecouteux

Video Book Review Travels to the Otherworld and other Fantastic Realms Medieval Journeys into the Beyond edited by Claude and Corine Lecouteux 240 Pages     Bright Blessings, it’s Saoirse! I was thrilled to review Travels to the Otherworld and other Fantastic Realms: Medieval Journeys into the Beyond, which was introduced and edited by Claude and Corine Lecouteux. Both authors reside in Paris and have taught at The Sorbonne. Blessed Be!  …

I could see that Le Couteux’s book was unraveling the web that had long been placed by the clerics of yesteryear. The web (Loki’s name in Swedish is locke/lock. Loksnät {spiders web}) around the elves and dwarves was put in place to replace the belief in beings that once had a seat next…
