In The Little Book of Manifestation Astrid Carvel presents to us a concise and clear concept – as she does in all of her Little Books.

She walks us through the basics of the Law of Attraction, a key concept of manifestation, and covers off on many manifesting techniques. She tells us about the attraction of energies to like energies – if we focus on positivity, we can elevate our frequency and attract similar vibrations.

She does clarify that had work is needed – although manifesting is partially based on visualization it doesn’t stop there. It is important to recognize the opportunities as presented by the universe. Astrid clarifies that manifesting is not magical and will take some work and dedication to take it to fruition.

She details some of the history of manifesting and walks us through the origins of the Law of Attraction. In reviewing this history, she has used examples of people who have improved their mental and physical well-being by focusing on creative visualization and adding positivity to their lives. It is not only New Thought authors and thinkers that believe and promote these concepts; Astrid has also included the concepts presented by Napoleon Hill in the book Think and Grow Rich as well as the contemporary author Rhonda Byrne in her book The Secret. In addition, she presents us with several examples of famous faces that have used manifestation techniques to achieve great things.

Astrid lays out manifestation techniques in some easy basic steps all the while ensuring that her readers understand that this is an outline only and over time a personalized approach will unfold. She includes some commonly used terminology that will help to further understand the process.

She then takes a deeper dive into the process, encouraging the reader to take a bit of a free fall approach; to not allow money to be a limiting factor in what you choose to manifest – to not be afraid to manifest a dream and then be prepared to do the work to get there. She encourages the reader to ask themselves questions along the way to ensure that you are manifesting what you truly desire.

Visualization is key to manifesting and she suggests that one of the easiest and most efficient ways to do this is to create a vision board. There are many other ways to achieve visualization that are covered in this book. She also covers off on how to counter any of the blocks or limiting beliefs that may interfere with your manifesting.

Although the title of the book is “The Little Book of…” as with all in her series, there is nothing little about it. Once again, Astrid covers her topic succinctly but thoroughly. I hope you will enjoy this as much as I did.
