The Perseid Meteor Shower is active right now, and peaks overnight from August 12th into the 13th. The peak occurs at about the same time as August 12th’s total solar eclipse, which will be eyeballed in Greenland, Spain and Iceland. Not here. (Sorry, Pilgrims.) Solar eclipses help us to accept new beginnings and stride into the unknown to greet them.

The next full moon is the Buck Moon on Wednesday July 29th. (This we can see in North America!) Named after the spell–pun intended–when male deer are regrowing their antlers. Life events touched off during this time often embrace developments, expansion and progress. But be advised–this is also a springboard that demands careful planning to ensure a good outcome!

The Last Pennsylvania Witch Trial (Update): Beck Ravenswood’s The Serpent Keys Shop and Sanctuary is open and fully operational. Ravenswood had obtained a court-ordered injunction in 2025 which still allows her to continue practicing fortune telling, at least for now. The case continues and moves into further hearings.
