The Memory of Trees
The Memory of Trees
They may seem immortal,
But they are only timeless.
They know how to suffer,
But they continue to grow.
They hide secrets men have
Never dreamed of before.
They have seen time
And continue the future.
Do not fail respect for
What towers above you,
Nor Their ability to
Feel you as you do yourself.
Walk softly and speak silent,
Listen beyond the forest
for the memory of trees.
