Title: Heal Yourself Oracle: Intuitive guidance to transform your soul
Author: Inna Segal
Illustrators: Cris Ortega and Drazenka Kimpel
Publisher: Rockpool Publishing
Release Date: April 2, 2024
Pages: 36 Cards and 96-Page Guidebook
The “Heal Yourself Oracle” deciphers the darker as well as the lighter side of life with three dozen cards to help you get in touch with all aspects of yourself. The deck’s raw, emotional illustrations and unflinching text can trigger deep feelings. By delving into the different aspects of wellness, spirituality, love, relationships, and soulfulness – and not avoiding the delicate themes – Inna Segal seeks to empower readers. With this oracle, she encourages them to explore, embrace, and heal all parts of themselves, to raise their consciousness, and transform their lives.
For each card, the color guidebook shows the image, states the meaning, expands on the topic, and gives an action step to perform. Mastering these simple but powerful steps is required for transformation to occur, as Segal stresses in her introduction. They include such actions such as asking yourself probing questions, connecting with your inner child, making lists, dancing, and making changes to your environment.
The thirty-six traits pictured on the cards include patience, self-love, and courage, but the majority of them are edgier. These edgier cards delve deeper into your psyche to include more uncomfortable topics such as entrapment, victim consciousness, selling out, and self-sabotage. Working with these aspects demands honesty and a willingness to accept the truth. In return the cards offer insight and messages to better know your true self, the situation, and ways to address it. When using these cards, choose a time when you won’t be undisturbed so you can give each one the attention it deserves. This deck can be an added tool for individuals doing shadow work.
A variety of spreads and ways to read them are included. For those who want to go deeper, Segal offers free videos and online seminars tackling many of the subjects contained in the cards. Find her at www.innasegal.com.
Note: This deck was first released in 2017. This version has the same images, but the new cards are borderless, have a matte finish, and purple gilted edges.
