    Journey of a Witch

Atheists Don’t Have No Songs! I had the pleasure of seeing comedian Steve Martin perform this hilarious satirical song Atheists “Don’t Have No Song” in person. The song is quite funny however; perceptions of atheists are not. Atheism in its ancient meaning is “without god” and carried with it negative connotations. In the West the word continues to stir up negative emotions in people. Many people accept different forms of religion. Paganism, Buddhism, Hinduism, Judaism, Muslim, Christianity and others are accepted even though some forms of these religions like Buddhism do not necessarily hold to a belief in deity. Yet when one identifies themselves as an atheist the acceptance seems…

    Musings of a Massachusetts Witch

The Spectrum of Love and Connection to Divine Prior to being born to our mother into the shell we call our body we existed in our True form or Spirit form on the spiritual plane (Heaven). There we existed with and within the Divine (God/dess). When our physical body dies we will pass through the Veil and back to spiritual plane in order to transition to our next experience. Our Higher Self or Spirit never ceases to exist. We are both; yin and yang, dark and light, night and day, Goddess and God, female and male. In essence we are neither female nor male – we are both. It is…

“To Bind A Love” Spell Many witches are in disagreement about the fairness of using a binding spell for love. Some feel this may take away your lover’s free will. I would caution that the love be mutual if you decide to proceed with this potent spell. You’ll need your partners strands of hair that you can get from a brush or their clothing. Do the same with your own hair. Cut two pieces of cotton string to approximately 12 inches or use centimeters…your choice. Now separate and tie each string around the hair or the hair around the strings to secure when working this magick. What you need: Strands…

    Hally’s Hints

ENERGETIC ANXIETY There is a hidden truth to being an energy worker that is often omitted from the greater scheme of things. I am yet to see it actually discussed anywhere openly and because I have experienced this first hand thought that it is about time it came out into the open. In order to be an efficient energy worker one must be sensitive to energies. That goes without saying. However, by being sensitive and evolving this sensitivity there is a level of anxiety that follows. It is different to the emotional anxiety that can be felt that is often associated with depression. It is almost intangible however, very much…
