I was a bit leery to review this book. There seems to be such an overabundance of books telling women to harness the power of the Goddess, and empower yourself with the Goddess, be a warrior with the Goddess. I took a peek through Amazon using those keywords and was amazed at the proliferation of these books considering that the Goddess is not exactly main-stream for most people. What many of these books do not tell you is that the secret to finding the Goddess is finding yourself, which is extremely hard Shadow work.
In this handy little book, which is small enough to fit in your bag, you will meet the Goddesses that can help you through this process, if that is your goal. You will meet Goddesses from all over the world, 75 (!) of them from A-Z. Each Goddess includes their story, their mythology, the virtues and how you can manifest their power into your daily life.
How do the Goddesses reveal themselves to you? How do you learn to work with them? Reading this book with an open spirit, maybe a Goddess a day, meditating upon Her, listen for her voice.
There are two appendices at the end of the book – Goddesses by Virtue, if you are looking for something specific, and also by place of origin.
I have many Goddess books in my collection. This will find it’s place among them that I keep. It is one of my favorite books of this type in recent times. I plan on sticking it in my bag and carrying it with me. Let the Goddess guide you.
