    Astro Report for March 2013

Strong Stellium in Pisces All Month long… A Stellium in astrological terms is a group of Planets sharing the same Sign. From the beginning of the month, Mars, the Sun, Venus, Mercury and Pluto are spread out in the Sign of Pisces. That’s five Planets – half of the total Astro Planets – hugging each other. As the month progresses, the Moon enters as Planet number 6 into the whirlpool of energy and pushes Mars out after New Moon. Mars begins its new trek in Aries with Neptune and for a short while, the Moon joins the Arian Stellium. Every day this month, the Stellium throws its weight around pulling…

    Across the Great Divide

“Packing Up and Moving a Haunted House” A rigging crew in Monroe, Iowa spent February 19, 2013 slowly moving a 100-ton house; and that has local ghost hunters anxiously waiting to see if any paranormal activity follows the reportedly haunted dwelling after it moves. The home, which had to be moved after one person bought the land and another person bought the house, will be relocated about five miles from where it has existed since 1865. Musings of a Massachusetts Witch

Still Not My Sister’s Keeper Here in my column last month I wrote about the concept of ‘donor children’ that the movie My Sister’s Keeper focused on. It is the idea that a child is conceived from the donation of sperm from the male and ova from the female of an individual couple for the sole purpose of genetically engineering a perfect match and donor for (in the plot of this movie) the older child. I wrote about how this idea upset me. I asked a lot of questions and concluded that it just was something I couldn’t imagine taking a part in and honestly even though I sympathized with…

Red Pixie’s Elements of a Magickal Life

Gratitude Mindset Our world is infinitely abundant and we all deserve our share of that abundance, all we have to do is be prepared to accept it. However, the reality is that at a subconscious level many of us simply do not believe that we deserve the prosperity that we seek. This often manifests from other underlying issues such as low self-esteem, fearfulness, guilt or any number of other negative beliefs. In order to achieve true prosperity, it is necessary to identify and release these underlying negative beliefs. Remember our external reality mirrors our internal beliefs, how we think the world is for us becomes our reality. By changing your inner…

NATURE ALCHEMY ~ Journey through Spirit in the Natural World

RADIANT RAINBOW ~ Gift of Enlightenment ~   He who knows others is wise. He who knows himself is enlightened. – Tao Te Ching   Intermingling with the waterfalls of the world, Rainbow blesses us with the communion of water and sunlight in a magickal display of shimmering iridescent colours. Rainbow is a visual and meteorological phenomenon, sparking the mind of man to heights of wonder and illumination. Transparent crystal is another organic element emanating prismatic Rainbow light. Its…
