    Mystic Thoughts

I recently gave myself permission to go ahead and buy the "Back Roads of Texas" paperback book. I’ve had the link saved in my browser for some time now. Just decided to go ahead and do it. I want to travel. Texas is a big state, and it would be a waste if I didn’t see some of its beauty. Did you know that there’s canyons and apparently some sort of "spectra lights in the sky", all in the State of Texas? These are things I would like to see, to explore. I have found myself "jumping in with both feet" with many things here lately. Could it be that…

My Problems with the Charge of the Goddess

Ok, so I have some problems with "The Charge of the Goddess". i do believe it is a very nice poem. I especially like the part in the end about having to know yourself in order to know the devine, however, somethings bother me about this poem some have taken as law. Why does it say "Whenever you have need of anything, once in the month, and better it be when the Moon is full…". Maybe someone can explain this to me. Why only once in the month? I don’t think it implies anything other then it said. I don’t, therefore, think it is open to interpretation (geez bible much).…

My Introduction to Self and Path

My name is Mira~Nise. I live in eastern-central Florida across the water from NASA. We have a good eye’s view of the shuttle lift-offs practically from our yard. I go to a UU Church here in Florida, and know several pagans who work out there. Goes to show you not all pagans are fluffy bunnies as you gotta have some smarts to work out there. I am a stay at home Mom, Basically my whole life, I am 42 and still have two kids at home. I home schooled the kids when they were younger and stopped when my oldest was ready for High school. BEAR

BEAR In the wind I hear the sound In the sky I see the sight In the fire I smell the heat and I am another self again. My fur keeps the rain off keeps the pain off My hide keeps the cold out keeps the words out My claws dig the earth deep dig my thoughts deep and I am strong. Stronger than fear Stronger than hate Stronger than hopelessness and my roar drowns apathy. *** author bio: Siiri Cressey

    Come see the Lady

The palest sliver of silver appeared, just a hint of the coming of her. As more and more of her lovely face did come, my breath quickened at the sight. In the lovely pale moonlight, her face was there, her love for us deeper than the deepest well. The Goddess floating above the waves, sent shivery delight through my veins. The full moon has come, Come feel her, see her, know her well. She who gave us birth through her cauldron Is shining down to lend us her power. The magick flows as does the waves, Flows thru me, fills me with awe and wonder. Sparks flash in the night,…

    GRASS MAGIC

Wind rushes through the grass the moon grass the hiding grass the magic grass the grass who turns silver and whispers songs when you touch it in moonlight. I’m not supposed to touch the grass. Especially not now when the moon is high and full and the night wind blows dark and secret but I can’t resist. I am a Bear Girl, a Fox Girl, a Raven Girl, a Cat Girl, a Wild Girl. *** author bio: Siiri Cressey

    Inyan

Spring comes into the endless circle A breath of nothingness into the daylight My eyes are closed with the peaceful rest Of the world before time, of the world before Motion There is Peace in complete silence There is a oneness unbroken by thought An riverless winding Through one single, endless thought When change is but a rumor in the mind of Creator And breath bated, Heart beating, We wait for your voice With your breath you divide the Heavens With your voice you sing our souls into being A formless separation from the wonders of union With Wakan Tanka, your spirit, you live Remember the Beginning undefined in its…
