    Morgan’s Wardrobe

Morgan’s Wardrobe Blessed Beltaine to Everyone! Spring has sprung here in the North as I am sure it has in many different places. Sometimes with the rebirth of Mother Earth, there comes a rebirth in the energy moving through one’s space and life. In fact, this is inevitable, the real question is whether or not a person recognizes the new energy and utilizes it. Part of living Pagan is being in tune with Mother Earth and the energies she sends forth at different times of the year. It is also about dealing with the energy sent forth in a positive way and knowing when to ground some of it back…

    Kitchen Witchery with Kids

Almost every witch has a respect for the kitchen, especially witchy parents. Parents master the art of taking care of their home, cooking and nourishing the family among other things. So why not put those skills in the pot with our spirituality, stir it up and teach our kids some kitchen witchery. The act of nourishing our loved ones with our magic is an age old tradition that has been passed down for ages and adopted by many cultures. The roles and responsibilities of parents have continued to evolve and as our society continues to become increasingly more violent, parents are dealing with more unique problems with their children. We…

    IN MEMORY OF…

IN MEMORY OF… This month I would like to dedicate to a fallen warrior. I did not have the honor of knowing this Soldier, he was best friends of one of our Desert Moon Soldiers. As Elder of a military Pagan group I see Soldiers through the good, the bad, and the adrenalin rushing times. As an empath, I feel the pain and suffering, as well as the joy and relief as we meet nightly for coffee and fellowship. I was on leave when the incident happened that took this Soldiers life, but hearing the aftermath is almost as bad as being here in Iraq when it happened. The Soldier…

    He Said, She Said

Nix at Nite The Lighthouse: Weyland: Loocy. I’m ho-ome! Morgan (in the living room with Celeste, talking on the phone): Hi, honey! We were just talking about you. Weyland: Tell ’em check’s in the mail. Morgan: I’m talking to Dad, Big Spender. He’s watching John Corzine on the news. Says you look just like him. Weyland (glares at Celeste, who puts up her hands, palms out): Harumph. Morgan: Honey, c’mon–you guys could’ve been separated at birth. Weyland: The only Democrats I resemble were JFK and Bobby. Roaring laughter pours from the phone. Wey scowls at Morgan, his bald head scarlet, but before he can say anything, he yells and grabs…

Getting the Energy from Your Food

We all know about the necessity to eat right, and strive to do so as often as possible. Yet, many of us occasionally slip and go to a fast food restaurant anyway – bad eating habits are hard to change. I had this problem too, until I found out how to make the best out of this unpleasant situation, when I had a craving for something unhealthy. Nowadays, wherever I go, I don’t have to worry about levels of cholesterol or calories, they are all incorporated into the plan. Many years ago I learned about the Pranic method of classifying food. It turns out that Prana, the universal life force,…

    Dreaming of Life

I have taken many classes, yet I am still ignorant. I have many degrees from different universities and I have even take classes from shady professors all in the name of education. Every morning I have the same routine. I wake up, take a shower, get ready for work, drink some over priced coffee, then sit at a cubicle for eight something hours answering phone calls and doing paperwork. Still something didn’t feel right for me. Something was missing from my life I couldn’t place my finger on. Was it love? Was it children? No.. it was something else. It was, well myself. Then the dreams started to come. At…

    Cleansing your own Chakras

Cleansing your own Chakras How often do you feel: Heavy, tired when you really shouldn’t be, in a funk, as if you want a shower when you’re actually clean, or just too cluttered? Each day we pick up gunk in our aura from others by simply passing them in a crowded market or speaking with an upset friend on the phone. This is then added to the gunk we accumulate from our own toil and trouble. This gunk then gets sucked in to the constantly spinning energy wheels in our aura that we all know as our Chakras. I will explain here, how to clean your own chakras when you…

Response to “Response to Coming Out Article”

Greetings and dia dhuit, This is more of a comment than anything, but it is in response to the "Response to "Coming Out" Article" In said article, the author made a reference to christianity stealing philosophical views from other religions, particularily Wicca…This kind of boggled my mind, Wicca is only from this century alone, everything it is based on is from a belief system that required no name for it was a folk belief. I know what it is to have pride in all that we are, but sometimes some individuals can be just as high and mighty as Christians in my mind. Also, her obvious egotistical view of women’s…
