A Walk on the Pagan Path

My husband and I have made a very important decision this month and it is a decision that will no doubt change life as we have known it for many years. We have decided that we will become farmers. Now for many of you, this may not seem like that big of a deal, but I can barely contain myself with all of the emotions I am feeling. As my husband starts the planning process and obtaining the necessary equipment, I find myself thinking of all the possibilities. Some of the things that I find myself thinking about may be strange to others. However, it is the natural mental process…

A Walk on the Pagan Path

Isn’t this time of year amazing? The Earth awakens and brings forth its colorful beauty. The birds fill the air with their cheerful songs. People get the urge to go outdoors and fire up the grills. As we step outside and take a breath of fresh air, our minds actively respond to everything our senses take in. Spring is a time of rebirth for the Earth in so many ways. Conversations begin to consist of births and weddings more than any other time. However, I find that I often think of death at the beginning of this particular season. Funny thing is, I am sure I am not alone. Death…

A Walk on the Pagan Path

For this month’s article, I wanted to discuss being a pagan parent. Being a parent in general can be such an extraordinary experience. I think we parents can agree that there are plenty of rewards and heartaches. As parents, we have so many choices to make about what type of parents we want to be. One of these decisions may involve how we will approach the spirituality topic with our children. This decision can vary among different belief systems and paganism is certainly not excluded. For my children, so far in their young lives, they have been exposed to a lot more than I ever was. I feel they have…

A Walk on the Pagan Path

This past month has certainly been an interesting one for myself. I completed my degree on January 30 so I found that I had a lot of extra time on my hands. It didn’t take long for me to find something to fill that extra time with. An interesting thing about a person’s spiritual journey is that you never know when a thought will enter your mind and force you to face it until it is resolved. It may keep popping in off and on, but eventually resolution will be reached which was the goal to begin with. I had a couple of moments like that this past month, but…

A Walk on the Pagan Path

Someone once asked me what a typical day was like for a pagan. I hope they weren’t expecting a one sentence response. It humored me how that question could be asked as if all pagans share a “typical” type day. I recall laughing out loud and walking away. Keeping in mind the type of person that was asking me this question, I felt it was better to attempt answering their question once they opened their mind a bit more and realized there were far better questions they could be asking.I can say the same thing on behalf of parents who homeschool their children. Once someone knows you homeschool, a few of…

A Walk on the Pagan Path

Merry Meet! I am new here at PaganPages.org and I am looking forward to this new experience. I feel an introduction is the best place to start. My name is Elizabeth Cusaac and my craft name is MeadowMoon. I was born in Florence, SC on January 18, 1977. I still live in South Carolina with my husband of 14 years and two sons, ages 13 and 8. We were fortunate enough to move to the country in 2006. This move brought about many positive changes in all of our lives. I began homeschooling my sons in 2008 which led me to work from home. As far as the spiritual changes…
