10 Minute Magic Spells Simple Spells and Self-Care Practices to Harness Your Inner Power
by Skye Alexander
Any book by Skye Alexander is an enjoyable read. This is the second book I am reviewing by Ms. Alexander and it proves to be as good as
This book is great for anyone beginning a journey into magic and spell work. Part One of the book covers the basics of magic, how it works and how to use it so it is successful for you. Part Two is a collection of simple spells and rituals that will take you only 10 minutes or less. The spells cover the basic areas that often need spell work; love, prosperity, protection/health/well-being, and good luck/happiness.
A point made in this book is that magic is open to all regardless of your tradition, culture or religion. All a person needs is an open mind and the magic will come to you. Your mind, your intent, your thoughts, your feelings and your actions are what brings the magic to life. Additionally a reminder is provided to do no harm. The author suggests to begin or end all spells with the following quote; “Let this be done for the highest good, harming none.”
As stated, the spells in this book should take no longer than 10 minutes. Programming of crystals, and the creation of mojos, charms and talisman are some of the magic spells listed in this book.
I would recommend this book to anyone beginning to use magic in their lives. I enjoyed reading this book, but most of all, I enjoyed its visual and tactile presentation. The paper used is heavy weight and glossy. The use of black, white and gold ink was impressive. Overall, the appearance of the book is that which has a magical energy. The kind of energy you hope to find in any book of spells. I do think you will be impressed by this book.
