Find Your Mantra
Inspire and Empower Your Life with 75 Positive Affirmations
by Aysel Gunar
144 Pages
The book is a small hardback of 144 pages, the illustrations and colors are beautiful, vibrant, and soothing.
The introduction discusses the writer’s bracelet brand which is cool because the whole thing is inspired by the authors son and the drive to be more “in the moment”.
Aysel Gunar the author declares the book will be “short, sweet, and to the point.” I agree, the book was definitely short and sweet, but also basic.
The book is broken into five sections, peace, love, happiness, strength, and journey. Each chapter showcasing simple mantras and the benefits of using them.
On the left of the page is the mantra with a beautiful illustration. I love that the mantra is large, and colorful making it both easy to find and easy to remember.
This book is simple and easy to follow, yet pretty basic. I suggest this book to anyone new to positive thinking, mantras, and or self-care.
Overall, I think the book was a little too simplistic, it needed more substance. I would have liked to have seen a yoga position, a chakra, crystal, or candle associated. Anything. It was pretty cliché. I think this book is excellent for teens and pre-teens.

About the Author:
Hello Lovelies, my name is Lizzie, I’m a short, hot tempered, Pink haired, scatterbrain with 2 boys, a husband of 10 years who is absolutely amazing, 3 pups, and a cat who I cant figure out if she’s my familiar or just a sassy brat who decided to make me her person. I love reading, writing, knitting, and 420. I’m a big seeker of knowledge and love to learn about other cultures and traditions. I began my studies on religions, faiths, history and cultures when I was 12 years old and have been fascinated ever since. That interest on the world developed a drive in me to travel and I have been quite the gypsy in my short years on Earth, having been to more than 30 States, and Mexico learning and studying this crazy thing we call life. I have since settled down in the beautiful California desert to tend to my hearth and home and have considered myself a cottage witch for about 2 years now. Now my days are filled with educating young minds, binge reading, writing and trying to keep my windowsill plants alive.
